About This Place

Situated in the heart of the picturesque Jordan Station, Honsberger Estate Winery, Restaurant, and Event Venue is a multifaceted destination that artfully combines exceptional dining, award-winning wines, and a welcoming space for memorable celebrations. At its core, the restaurant invites guests to indulge in a thoughtfully curated menu that beautifully showcases rustic comfort with a refined twist.

The culinary experience at Honsberger Estate is deeply satisfying, with a vibrant array of dishes that blend farm-fresh ingredients with inspired flavors. The menu is a delightful journey—from the bright zest of the Citrus Tacos to the comforting richness of the Chicken Pappardelle. Those who appreciate handmade pasta will find the Campanelle Pasta irresistible, perfectly balancing savory sausage, fennel, and a peppery bite against an indulgent burro e parmigiano sauce, while vegetarians can delight in the hearty layers of eggplant and zucchini in the vegetarian lasagna.

Salads here are not an afterthought but a celebration of seasonal bounty and texture: the Harvest Bowl combines quinoa, crisp arugula, cranberries, and crispy goat cheese finished with a gentle maple dressing, creating a harmony of sweet and savory that lingers pleasantly on the palate. For heartier appetites, the mains such as the maple and grainy Dijon-glazed chicken or the expertly grilled 10 oz striploin—with creamy garlic mashed potatoes and robust peppercorn sauce—offer comforting warmth and depth, perfect for a leisurely meal complemented by a glass of Honsberger’s own wines.

The dining atmosphere at Honsberger Estate is equally compelling. Guests repeatedly praise the inviting covered patio, where live music sets a relaxing tone amidst the natural beauty of the estate. The generous spacing of tables ensures a comfortable experience, whether you’re seeking a tranquil nook to unwind or a lively spot to gather with friends. Pet owners will appreciate the warm welcome extended to furry companions—making it easy to enjoy a meal together without compromise.

As echoed by visitors like Ni K and A Nasmnto, the wood-fired pizzas—such as the spicy Papa and innovative Pulled Pork and Pineapple varieties—are crowd favorites, with a smoky char and fresh toppings that truly sing. Meanwhile, Alyssa P’s mention of encountering a friendly llama upon arrival paints a vivid picture of the estate’s unique charm and attention to creating joyful, memorable moments beyond just food and wine.

Honsberger Estate stands out not only as a winery and event venue but as a heartfelt destination where the pleasures of exceptional cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and warm hospitality come together seamlessly. Every visit feels like a celebration of good taste and genuine care, making it a perfect final stop after a day of exploring the Niagara wine country or a stunning backdrop for weddings and special events.

For those seeking a dining experience that marries farm-to-table freshness with welcoming ambiance, Honsberger Estate Winery, Restaurant, and Event Venue is truly a gem on Jordan Road. Whether indulging in their Pasta Night Special on Thursdays, savoring a wood-fired pizza with a glass of local wine, or simply soaking in the lively yet relaxed atmosphere, this destination leaves a lasting impression on both the palate and the spirit.

Amazing restaurant with covered patio. Some spots aren’t as breezy as others. The cocktails/wine were very good, and pizza is made in a wood burn oven. Plenty of parking and the service was good even when it’s very busy!

We ended our winery tour at Honsberger Estate and it was the perfect final stop. Right as we arrived, we were greeted by a llama, which was such a fun and unexpected touch - it definitely set the tone for a memorable visit. The staff was warm and welcoming, even though the place was busy, and the live music created a great atmosphere to enjoy while we did some wine tasting. We ordered a single bottle of wine to share along with the mussels pizza and a fennel salad, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food paired beautifully with the wine, and the scenery around the estate was stunning - peaceful, picturesque, and the kind of place you just want to linger in. We had such a wonderful experience and can’t wait to come back.

We loved the food here. Great atmosphere. The service was great and staff were friendly. Our puppy was welcomed on the patio and enjoyed his time as well.

Lovely patio. Great atmosphere. Very good service. The patio is well spaced out. Theirs some good quieter areas and some areas with larger tables for groups. Live music. We had the papa and Hawaiin pizzas. I'm not a huge fan of Hawaiin pizza, but they have a good twist on it. They add pork and jalapenos. It works. The papa is a nice spicy pizza. If the weather is good it's a great space to spend a few hours. Would definitely go back.

We have been to this lovely winery a few times and always had an amazing time. Our reason for visiting is usually to see Tin Roof. Stacey and Adam played for our wedding 6 years ago and are definitely worth checking out. From them we have enjoyed the wines and food at Honsberger. Thank you!.

We visited Honsberger for a birthday on a random weeknight in the summer. The main things that I want to highlight are the incredible woodfired pizzas, the excellent live music which made the atmosphere incredible, and the excellent service, including Winston the Cat and the sheeps. Starting with the food - our food was incredibly well made and delicious. Pictured in my review are the cup n char pepperoni pizza, the margarita pizza, the falafel bowl, and a couple of the wine options. The pizza in particular was incredible. As someone who has eaten many pizzas, from frozen to authentically Neapolitan pizza, this pizza is up there. I actually had the margarita pizza and I have some regrets because LOOK at the pepperoni pizza. It doesn't get much better than that. All of the others enjoyed their food and drinks as well. I had the lemonade. The atmosphere was excellent as well, with 2 fellas playing live music - an electric guitar and a piano. They added enormous vibes to the evening - they were playing super chill tunes, nothing too major or loud which was lovely. Where they weren't playing, the background music was nice as well. The vibe of this location was incredible as well - very quiet little farm/patio vibe. Rustic, but nice. Finally the service. Our server was quick and polite. She also gave us some history on the place, and introduced us to what was arguably the best part of the evening - Winston. Winston is a cat, and he was a total vibe - patiently guarding the door where the servers were coming in and out of. They also had sheep and alpacas - i learned later on that they are actually the ones responsible for ground maintenance, which is excellent. They seemed to do a good job. Sadly, the chickens were all asleep. But I am sure they would have been good too. All in all, good times, good food. Will be returning to HOUSE a pep pizza soon.

I tell ya what,,, phenomenal food. The fresh caprese from their garden salad, I could have done two of them and loved em both. The chicken and mushrooms was great as well. The kitchen was unfortunately a little behind but the wine made me happy so I got nothing to complain about.

A random choice that paid huge rewards! Barb was our hostess, very knowledgeable. Food smelled great but we had already eaten. Wines, everyone of them, well balanced, great flavour with depth, and smooth finish. Well worth the stop and we have put this winery on our must go list!
